BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
These organizations proudly support Troop 9003 of the Boy Scouts of America!
The Boy Scouts of America provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
For 100 years, Scouting has instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910.
Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build
self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards.
In the outdoors, youth have opportunities to acquire skills that make them more self-reliant. They can explore canoe paths and hiking trails and complete challenges they first thought were beyond their ability.
There are more than 150 awards you can earn as a Boy Scout. Whether it’s a rank advancement, merit badge, or one of the many other individual awards, there is plenty for you to set your sights on.
